During the 6 weeks while we’ve been gone God has given us the opportunity to be ministered to and the privilege to minister to others. I had the blessing of preaching at 5 church services, Amy taught at a couple of ladies meetings, Beth at a couple of youth classes and then all of us spoke at a teen fellowship. One of our thoughts while we were gone was, God what is your plan for having us gone for so long and how are we to help? The realization is that there is a need no matter where you’re at , we just need to be ready and let God lead.
Many people came around to help stop the fighting and after no success Jason and I went over as the wife was now wildly swinging the machete and beating it against anything it might hit. We asked if we could come in and they stopped long enough for us to reason with them. We took the weapon away and hid them outside and then dealt with the root problem “SIN”.
