Lately Amy has been trying to come into the 21st century with using emojis and learning texting abbreviations. Her first tries at abbreviating have been LLAP (Live long and prosper) and W.E. (Whatever). When Amy tried to impress the kids with her newfound “skills”, the kids started to laugh.
The kids were all talking about someone getting married and Drew said, “It’s a good thing we don’t live in the old days where they require a downy, because you guys wouldn’t have one.” Our family started cracking up at Drew’s mistake of the word dowry. It doesn’t happen very often that Drew gets put in a prayer letter, but Beth and Amy were happy to let him have this spot.
