I remember a missionary saying to me, “If God has called you He obligates Himself to provide the needs.” We are in a rush to get back to PNG, but God’s timing is always best!
On November 20th, 2016 the church in Wipim voted to recognize Arusa Gometa as its Pastor. We had over 180 adults and nearly 100 children in attendance for the largest day WBC has ever seen. This day also saw us ordaining Arusa, Job Martin (Iamega village), and Mark Marega (Ruwar village). We officially handed the church to Pastor Gometa and watched on as he took ten men and women into the baptismal waters.
